Welcome to episode two, the world needs exactly what you have to offer.

If there's one thing I know for sure. It's that we don't spend enough time thinking about how important our contribution is. How important these ideas that won't leave us alone are. How so very amazing it is that we are here at this exact time. With the exact skillset that we've developed. And with the amazing idea that we have. It's astonishing. When you think about it. I love this quote. And every time I think about it, it stops me in my tracks.

Here's the quote. Everyone has the perfect gift to give the world and if each of us is freed up to give our unique gift, the world will be in total harmony. And that's by R. Buckminster Fuller. I love this quote. And it gets me thinking about how we don't spend enough time thinking about how important the contribution that our passion projects would have. On ourselves, on our friends, our family. But also in our communities and all of the people that would benefit from our idea. Really think about that, whatever you're currently dreaming about it will help other people, it will impact someone's life. It will make someone's life better. And that is so, so valuable. But we don't think about that. We think about ourselves and our self doubt. And what I'm offering here and suggesting is to start thinking more about the contribution that your idea would have.

We tend to think of our creative ideas as frivolous and maybe even not worth it. And I know for my 10 years as a jewelry designer, and my creative friends, that many creatives have big dreams and goals that they never achieve because they don't think that they're capable or ready or the worst one ever talented enough. Of course, none of that is true. And it's devastating to the people that your idea would uniquely serve. I believe with all of my heart, that the world needs exactly what you have to offer.

Now I hope we agree on that and I want to tell you something. It's super important to set big goals for yourself. And become the person who makes them happen. Who sets goals within your project and within your bigger dreams for yourselves, and then step by step brick by brick, you make them happen. Who you are right now is a result of what you believe and think is possible for you. I'm going to repeat that. Who you are right now is a result of what you believe and think is possible for you. In order to create whatever is next for you, you need to do the self work, to develop the capacity and become the person who creates something that you don't yet have, but that you deeply want. This often means expanding your self-concept, what you think is possible for you, what you think is meant for you, what you think you're capable of doing. And totally often blowing that up, like in a major way. And that frees you to begin to redefine your self concept and to expand your self concept into the person who creates what you want. Which is what's really meant for you.

I know for sure that you are not here to stay in or remain in a limited self-concept one that is like riddled with self doubt and fear and uncertainty. That is not why you are here. You are here to continue to grow and expand what you think is possible for you, what you want for yourself and what you go out and seek in the world. It is a privilege to get to do this. To get to be alive and healthy and have the opportunity to take one action at a time and make your goal a real thing. To evolve and continue to evolve into new versions of yourself. You get to experience what it's like to become that person. And keep becoming an iterating. And the world benefits from your unique contribution. You were given your ideas to make them a real thing. Your job is to do the work, to get out of your own way.

If you need help reach out and find the support that you need. Don't stop. Your life is too precious to waste it away, feeling inadequate and staying small. I want to leave you with a call to action.

Today, I want you to tell one person about your idea. The passion project that you're dreaming about, maybe you're daydreaming about maybe you're starting take small steps on it. Maybe you you make plans for it, but you haven't started it yet. Tell one person about it. It could be one of your parents, your partner, a coworker, a friend, or you could tell me. Tell them what your idea is and your vision for it. That's all you have to do. Just tell one person what your idea is and the vision you have for it and that's it.

I am so glad that you are here and that we get to walk our paths together. See you next time. Same time, same place. Bye. For now.
