Hello my wonderful friends!
I’d like to go a little deep today and share my 2018 wins with you. It was a big year for Moulton and for me, and a lot of that had to do with allowing myself to make big (scary to me) investments. It is a great joy for me to feel like we are in conversation — that what I share here in this newsletter and on instagram is part of a larger dialogue. I love getting to work with you more than anything — it is so special to be brought into the fold and create meaningful objects that represent your deepest hope/fear/struggle/dream. Thank you for being here!

I took an academic course to learn CAD, I stepped back from Moulton for a few months as I prepared for and created Moulton Heirlooms, I reinvested profits into the business to purchase new tools, I spent days at a time completely silent to learn how to truly witness what is going on moment by moment. And smaller investments like my bi-weekly therapy sessions, Sunday mornings at a coffee shop going through B-School, bi-weekly sessions writing WONDER LETTERS, lots and lots dedicated solo time practicing and making in my studio. All of this driven by building a business that is so near to my heart — that is in service to others and their deepest dreams/struggles/wishes/hopes.
I started to feel ready to stretch my wings in the last quarter of 2018 and my 2019 goals reflect that. I’m looking to achieve and do big things in 2019 — grow my business, write more and publish articles, hire an employee, launch a bunch of new designs, grow my savings account, buy our first home, volunteer, and this is a big one — care for myself by cooking and moving because I love myself (not because I hate myself). I have specific, actionable goals for all of this but I’d rather keep them to myself for now so I can tend to them for myself, not because I’ve made a public commitment.

Thank you for your support and kind words this year, it means the world to this one woman with two hands that’s built this business over the past seven years.
With love,
Jen
